About
Dr. Chuck Morris
Scientist. Founder of Midtown Biohack NYC.
Twenty years ago he had so much chronic stress in his
own body that he contracted ulcers in his corneas. It was misdiagnosed
as pink eye. Three days into the wrong medication he was told they
were going to have to cut into his eyes. He was, at the time, one of
the fittest people in the country. Everything he teaches now came from
the other side of that question: how does that happen to a body like
this?
He was born and raised in Philadelphia and served as the official
Health Coach for the City of Philadelphia. He went on to
serve as CEO of the NFL Alumni Performance Lab, and has spent close to
thirty years in human performance and recovery science. His doctorate
is in exercise science.
He is the creator of the Morris Method™ and Strategic
Situational Breathing™, the protocol he demonstrates live on
stage. His work has taken him from locker rooms to boardrooms, and the
people he has coached include gold medalists, league MVPs and
Super Bowl champions, alongside executives and everyday high
performers who simply cannot afford to slow down.
Today he runs Midtown Biohack NYC on Madison Avenue, where the work
is measurement first: read the nervous system, regulate it, then build
capacity on purpose. He is the author of Stress: Our Human
Superpower™ and the founder of the Nova Breath™ app.
His work has been featured on FOX 5 Good Day New York, The Breakfast
Club, the BBC and in The Wall Street Journal.
